The University of Texas at San Antonio

To assist UTSA, CG first developed a detailed master plan; the wayfinding strategy commented on a number of issues that affect visitor cognition and navigation, such as activity zones, street grid, naming issues, landmarks and building features.

CG also made a thorough assessment of best practices for visitor maps, both digital and printed, including databases, human factors and evolving phone applications. The comprehensive sign system includes gateways, vehicular and pedestrian directionals, orientation stations, sheltered kiosks, maps, banners and parking and building identification signs.

Notable: CG developed a new campus addressing system that included street naming and building numbering.
