The University of Chicago Medicine – digital donor recognition

Comprehensive donor recognition programs fuel growth in fundraising, membership enrollment and can also support gains in institutional resources by properly thanking the beneficence of previous donors and stimulating the interest of potential ones.

A digital kiosk, integrated into the lobby wall at the Center for Care and Discovery, the new core of the University’s medical campus, plays an exciting role by adding storytelling, branding and interactivity to the mix. Donor profiles, mission statements, institutional achievements and news about ongoing initiatives go far beyond the presentation of names; they encourage involvement and future giving.

On a purely practical level, digital sign content will be expanded to include lower level donors who are rarely recognized.

Notable: User-friendly content management systems will allow “lay” staff to update information easily.
