Phlash Bus

The Phlash signage and buses are a longstanding feature of Philadelphia’s streetscape. Phlash buses and trollies serve retail, historic and cultural attractions in the Center City and Centennial district; they are consistently rated by tourists as the best way to see Philadelphia.

CG created a kinetic identity for Phlash which runs the gamut from identification signs and uniforms to the vehicles that give the Phlash its highly-recognizable street presence. The winged signs and purple buses make sightseeing an inviting and playful experience.

Notable: The Phlash name and identity were inspired by The Flash “fastest man alive” comic.
