The Circuit Trails transit-to-trail wayfinding

We’re working with Tri-State Transportation Campaign, Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition and New Jersey Transit to promote bicycling to and from Riverline light rail stations. Signs on station platforms will list and promote nearby trails, and on-street signage will blaze the way to each trailhead.

The signage system is part of the Circuit Trails, a network that connects multi-use trails in the Greater Philadelphia region. When completed, this system will link over 800 miles of off-road trails, making healthy transportation and recreation accessible to urban, suburban and rural communities in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

This pilot project includes stations in Camden and Burlington counties and directs to local, regional and national trails like the Delaware River Heritage Trail, the Rancocas Creek Greenway, and East Coast Greenway. Signs also direct to nearby bike fix-it stations, parks, museums, and other points of interest. Be on the lookout for these signs as installation continues this spring!
