Adkins Arboretum is the only public garden to focus on plants native to Maryland’s eastern shore.
An interpretive system engages the Arboretum’s diverse audiences—gardeners, nature lovers, artists, birders and students—on self-guided walks. Signs were also developed for a lively audio tour through the gorgeous grounds. Signage also helps support Adkins’ mission to be a model for innovation, sustainability and native plantings.
Notable: Bay waters are tidal, so signs on the floating dock needed to be submersible.
