New architectural gateway for Penn residential community

Placed at the perimeter of the University of Pennsylvania’s urban campus, CGA’s gateway sign both announces Penn and identifies the New College House. Designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, this block-long building and sweeping green space encourage connections among undergraduates, faculty, staff, graduates and the community beyond.

The gateway sign is crafted with water-jet cut aluminum; its nighttime glow also reinforces a sense of arrival and welcome.
