Honoring those who fought for freedom

Originating from Galveston, Texas in 1865, Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and is the first new federal holiday since 1983. In cities across the country, people of all races, nationalities, and religions are joining hands to acknowledge a period in our history that has shaped and continues to influence our society today. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the power and resilience of African Americans who have endured generations of oppression in the ongoing journey toward equal justice and equal opportunity in America.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are core values at Cloud Gehshan Design. We believe that we can be a powerful conduit for social change and that our higher purpose is to create spaces that are inclusive and accessible for all.

In observance of Juneteenth, CG is closed Monday, June 19th and will reopen on Tuesday, June 20th.
