Air and Space Museum gets an update
The National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution is ready for relaunch! The Museum’s first phase of a $1 billion renovation reopened October 14th and includes eight new exhibitions, the planetarium, museum store and the Mars Café all located on the buildings west end. CG’s wayfinding and environmental graphics, designed to help visitors navigate and enjoy public spaces, are part of the revitalization project lead by Quinn Evans with fabrication and installation done by Gelberg Signs. The seven-year Revitalization Project is expected to be fully complete in 2025 and the new Bezos Learning Center, to be located on the east end, is currently in planning stages.
