To encourage engagement and recreational use of the rapidly developing series of trails and parks along the North Delaware Riverfront, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and the Delaware Riverfront Development Corporation engaged CG to develop a comprehensive signage, wayfinding and interpretive program.
As a part of the system, CG coordinated the research, writing and design of a series of interpretive stations, species markers and maps to highlight the forgotten industrial, residential and natural history of six of Philadelphia’s oldest riverwards.
Notable: These new elements built on and become part of the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Signage and Wayfinding Guidelines designed by CG.
