Prototype installed for American Water skyline signage

Overlooking the Delaware River, American Water’s iconic skyline signage, designed by Cloud Gehshan, will announce its new home in Camden, NJ.

A full-size prototype of a 14-foot internally illuminated letter was recently installed to test its visibility and aesthetics. The scale of the letters and their placement over the parapet will make them clearly visible from the Camden waterfront promenade and Philadelphia’s Penn’s Landing.

The signage will light up in playful color on special occasions, further enhancing this growing waterfront community.
