Kicking off a new signage and wayfinding project for the University of Virginia

Matt, Linzi and Peter recently kicked off a grounds-wide signage and wayfinding project for the University of Virginia.

Cloud Gehshan will develop a cohesive system that addresses the unique topography, historical significance, and ongoing developments of the 1,135-acre suburban campus. The design of a unified wayfinding system will support the specific needs of the university’s individual districts, that range in use from athletic venues to academic and arts spaces.

The comprehensive set of system guidelines will provide UVA with a toolkit for achieving a welcoming visitor experience on grounds, now and in the future as the university continues to evolve it’s footprint in Charlottesville.
