Equal Justice Center’s laudable mission

CG is honored to join the design team for the development of the Equal Justice Center, an important HUB coming to the city of Philadelphia. Spearheaded by the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, the non-profit center will be home to 14 legal aid and social service organizations offering free or low-cost services to those with limited resources.

The first of its kind in the country, the EJC will make a significant social and economic impact to the city, exceeding $200 million in services and benefiting over 40,000 low-income people annually in the Philadelphia community and surrounding regions.

The nine-story building and adjoining plaza is being designed by Philadelphia-based and award-winning architectural firm WRT, with Pennrose Development as lead developer and INTECH Construction as the general contractor. CG is designing interior wayfinding signage, donor recognition and environmental graphics for the EJC, which will open its doors in 2022.
