A futuristic new library for Temple University

Among the projects included in Temple University’s master plan is a 210,000 sq ft futuristic library that will include a green roof and an outdoor balcony offering stunning cross-campus views. The new library designed by Snøhetta, an acclaimed Norwegian architectural firm renowned for their innovative library buildings, will become the university’s new centerpiece and academic heart.

CGA, responsible for Temple’s new signage and wayfinding master plan, has been retained to work with Snøhetta’s NYC office to design the signage, wayfinding and donor recognition for the innovative facility.

To learn more about how the library fits into Temple’s ambitious plans, listen to University Architect Margaret Carney’s interview.
