Kate Otte

Associate Design Director

Kate is a talented designer who combines critical thinking with versatile creativity to create work that is engaging, accessible and unique. Her work includes interpretive planning and design, placebranding, wayfinding strategy, sign design and illustration. Her specific skills in content development and informational graphics have played a key role in many CG projects.

Kate’s projects have included The Rail Park interpretive wall, Cornell University’s wayfinding master plan, the Philadelphia Water Department’s “Green City Clean Waters” sign system, a wayfinding app for Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and PECO Energy corporate office environmental graphics.

Before joining CG, Kate has worked for Landor Associates, an international branding firm; Juice Pharma, an advertising agency; and Kraemer Design + Production, an exhibit design firm.

Kate graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design.
