Penn’s Landing, a magnet for natives and tourists, hosts large-scale festivals, performances and events year-round. To create dozens of playful graphic elements, CG first developed a “kit of parts” based on the visual themes of maritime history, entertainment and the working port. Whether for the performance stage, food stands, tickets booths, banners, uniforms or flags, the colors and themes capture the spirit and meaning of the place.
CG also proposed the name “RiverRink” and then designed the identity and graphic applications for the winter ice skating rink.
Notable: Trolleys with LED lights, designed to shuttle crowds up and down the riverfront, are now repurposed as food trucks in the new and fabulous Cherry Street Pier.
